appointments

what products do you work with?

we work with Gel exclusively! Also really proud to say all products are vegan and cruelty free :)

*if you have anything other than that on your nails or product from another technician, we will have to remove it. Please always book a removal if you have ANY product that was not applied by any of our artists. 

how do I book an appointment?

* to book you will be asked to introduce your card information. this does NOT mean the booking is paid! the card will function as a retainment so if anything happens (no-show/late cancellation) we will be able to retrieve the value of the services you’ve booked;

* all payments of bookings are final when you are at the salon after the appointment is finished. if you introduced your card to secure the appointment, nothing is or will be charged without your consent.

how to book:

  1. click "book here!";
  2. select the services you want (if you don’t know or are not sure DM/message/e-mail) - read the descriptions as they have guidances that make it easier to understand;
  3. select the time/date/artist;
  4. create your account and introduce your card details;
  5. read everything throughly before clicking “confirm”;
  6. your booking is done! you’ll receive an e-mail with all the details of the booking :) (check spam too!).

how can I book without a card?

  • if for any reason you cannot introduce a card please send a DM/message/e-mail through Instagram/Whatsapp/Contact Form. a 50% deposit for the services will be asked at the time of the booking. this deposit could be paid through Tikkie/Paypal/Revolut;
  • all payments of bookings are final when you are at the salon after the appointment is finished. if you did a deposit, the rest of the amount will be asked to pay at the end of the appointment.

I don't know what options to choose!

please contact us through the appropriate channels for any further questions/doubts you may have!

what payment methods do you offer?

at the studio we accept cash or card payments!

some payment methods include fees:

  • card in Fresha: if you want to pay the appointment with the card you booked with, Fresha asks for a fee of 2€. to ensure all artists are paid fairly and full price for the services provided, that fee will be asked to the clients;
  • pin card machine: the machine fees are 1,90% (of total value of the services) for EACH payment. again, to ensure all artists are paid fairly and full price for the services provided, that fee will be asked to the clients;

if you don't want to pay any of these fees you can choose any other payment methods.

an ATM machine is close by, right around the corner inside the Albert Heijn. we do advise that if you prefer to pay in cash, that you'd bring it prior to the appointment to avoid any difficulties.

what are the opening hours?

sunday: closed

wednesday: 10am - 7pm

thursday: 10am - 7pm

saturday: 11am - 6pm

how do I enter the building?

when you enter, you will find a tablet. you are required to do a check-in to pass the first door.

find the name of the salon (local nail gang) and introduce your name.

a door will open to the lobby area.

once you're inside, just wait for one of the artists to pick you up!

I have a broken/lifting nail... Help!

there is a 1 Week Warranty that is applicable if any of your nails break/lift/chip in the first 7 days after your appointment. In this case, the repair is free. this is of course subjected to availability of the artists too depending on how many nails need to be repaired. after that week, each repair (each nail) is 5€.

this warranty does not apply if:

  • you peeled nails off purposefully;
  • you disregarded after care instructions (used really hot water in the first 24H/constantly with no gloves, did cleanings with harsh chemicals with no gloves on, gardening with no gloves, used your nails to open things such as boxes or scrapped them in an attempt to remove something);
  • there is neglect or mishandle.

no shows / late cancellations

IF, for any reason, you cannot show up to your appointment and you already know it 24H or more prior, you can reschedule/cancel any time on the booking system without being charged.

  • no shows: if you don't show up and don't communicate with us why you won't show up for the appointment, you will be asked to pay 100% of the services booked.
  • late cancellation: If your appointment is in less than 24H and you want to reschedule/cancel, you will be ask you to pay 50% of the services you booked.

Even when a deposit is asked all policies apply so if you’ve sent a deposit and a no-show/late cancellation occurs, deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Delays/Late: If you are running late or something happened and you will unfortunately be late to your appointment, my maximum wait time will be 15 MIN.

After that, your appointment will be considered a no-show and you will have to pay the FULL amount of the services you’ve booked.

New bookings will not be accepted if these conditions are not resolved.

*Any appointments that want to be changed last minute (less than 24H, in case you booked a wrong service) can be cancelled and considered a no show, therefore will be charged the full amount of the services booked. Read the descriptions for each service, if you are not sure what to book always reach out!

refunds

at any times we do NOT provide refunds.

we are more than happy to accomodate you at the salon to do any changes, although these can be charged depending on the situation.

all the policies stated in these points WILL also be at the end of your scheduling right before you confirm. read them carefully, as these are definite and you will agree to them.

Press Ons

When are my nails ready?

Processing time is 3-7 Business Days.

If you have purchased multiple sets we may require more time.

Periods of sales can also increase the time of processing up to 10 business days.

If you wish for your nails to be processed faster (1-3 business days) , please add the Fast Fast Fee on the checkout.

When will my nails be delivered?

Shipping Times:

Domestic

  • Normal Shipping: 2-4 Business days *
  • Express Shipping: 1-3 Business days *

EU (Europeen Union)

  • Normal Shipping: 3-5 Business days *
  • Express Shipping: 2-3 Business days *

International

  • 10-15 business days (more information can be provided once orders are posted). *

Pick Up Option

This option is available for FREE, the pick up is at the salon. Pick ups are available every Wednesday, from 10am to 7pm. Please only choose this option if you can travel to the address.

*Once delivery companies accept our parcels, we are not responsible or liable for any theft or missing parcels that may occur after.

How do I measure?

  1. Apply a piece of tape horizontally on your nail;
  2. Mark the edge of the nail with a pen (Repeat for all 10 fingers);
  3. Remove tape and place onto the millimeter side of a ruler, and note down each finger’s width in mm.

For a full proof method we recommend you to buy our Sizing Kit. Note that some shapes have different sizes so it may vary. Make sure to purchase the shape you want for your final set.

How do I apply?

  1. Clean & wash your hands;
  2. Push back your cuticles with cuticle pusher, make sure not to touch your natural nails after prep to avoid oil transfer;
  3. Buff the surface of your nails with the buffer, then wipe off with alcohol wipe;
  4. File press ons to fit your exact cuticle shape, if any dust is made during this, wipe the nail also with the alcohol wipe;
  5. If you want to glue the nails, squeze a drop onto your nail and carefully spred it through your nail. You can do the same on the press on too. Be careful not to put too much and that the glue doesn't touch your skin or flods the cuticle/side walls. Let the glue get a bit tacky (about 10 secs);
  6. If you want to apply the adhesive tabs, measure them first on your natural nail. Then, stick them right above your cuticles. Do some pressure. Remove the plastic to reveal the sticky part;
  7. Glue or stick the press ons to your nails, hold for 30 seconds making firm pressure, Make sure you pressure all possible sides/corners;
  8. To prevent nails coming off too soon, try to avoid water if possible for next 2 hours, particularly hot water or steamy environments.

How do I remove?

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water and add a tiny drop of dish soap;
  2. Apply oil to cuticle area;
  3. Soak nails for 10/15 mins;
  4. Gently push the press on away from cuticle area with the sticky provided on the application kit;
  5. Remove glue residue from your nails with the buffer/file. You can also use acetone to soften the glue;
  6. Apply cuticle oil at the end.

Can I reuse the nails?

Yes of course! All handmade nails are reusable. Your nails are made with quality products, therefore they are strong and durable.

Adhesive Tabs: Nails can be reused over and over. Simply clean off the used adhesive tabs from the backside of the nails;

Glue: Gently remove nails, once removed softly file away excessive glue from underside;

Be patient and gentle when removing your press ons so you can protect your natural nails and the set!

How long will it last?

Wear time depends on how well you prep your natural nails before application! The key to longer wear time is to follow all steps and ensure your nail is buffed, no dust or residue and wiped clean with the alcohol.

Adhesive Tabs: 1-3 day wear ( temporary wear)

Nail Glue: up to 2 weeks (Re-glue if needed)

Tabs with a drop of glue: 3-4 days

Nails with charms and 3D details are more delicate and prone to get stuck in hair/clothes, when wearing them please take extra care.

I've lost a nail!

If you've lost a nail or you got the measurements wrong and need different sizes you can add a Replacement Nail to your cart!

Please note that colours may change or fade over time but we will try our absolute best to match your set. This will not come with a prep kit, additional prep kits can be purchased here.

My nails don't fit!

If you ordered the wrong size or measured incorrectly, you can always buy a replacement for the ill fitting nails!

Refunds

Our sets are custom made for EACH customer so at any times we do NOT provide refunds nor can we exchange orders.

However, if there are design changes, please let us know as soon as possibles as we can make adjustments before we begin making the set.

Cuticle Oils

What are the ingredients?

Ingredients:

  • Jojoba Oil;
  • Avocado Oil;
  • Coconut Oil;
  • Vitamin E;
  • Tea Tree Oil;
  • Frangrance (Essential Oils).

How do I apply?

  • Dropper Bottles

Drop oil on to the skin - rub it around the cuticle, side walls and under the free edge.

  • Pen

Remove cap, twist the bottom of the pen until you ear a click sound - oil will come through the brush. Brush oil against cuticle, side walls and under the nail.

For better results use consisently (at least once a day, every day)!

What are the benefits of cuticle oil?

  1. Keeps your skin moisturized:
  2. Nails will look better;
  3. Nails will become stronger and healthier;
  4. Hydrates the skin around the nail beds, reducing hangnails;
  5. Keeps nails from becoming dry and brittle;
  6. Promotes healthy nail growth, super important for nail bitters;
  7. Reduces product lifting;
  8. Promotes healthy skin growth, especially for skin pickers/bitters.

Do you have cuticle oils to sell at the salon?

Our goal is for all our clients to buy the cuticle oils on the website, that way we can keep track of all orders and prepare them upfront.

Although we most likely have spares at the salon, we ask ALL clients to buy the cuticle oils here!

Can I pick up my order when I have an appointment booked?

Of course! This would be ideal, if you want to do it choose "Pick Up" Delivery option at checkout.

If you want to be more precise, on the "Special Instructions" Box on the Cart you can write down your name and appointment date :)

When will my order be ready?

Processing Times: 1-2 business days

Cuticle Oils orders will be extremely fast to fullfill! Regardless, you will always receive an e-mail confirmation the moment they're done and ready for pick-up/delivery.

How long to the cuticle oils last?

  • Dropper Bottles most likely will last a year.
  • Pens most likely will last 2-3 months.

Keep in mind that shelf life (time the product is goog for consumption) is of 12 months.

It's not reccomended with any products to still use them after shelf life is finished. Local Nail Gang is not liable for any damages.

Refunds

At any times we do NOT provide refunds nor can we exchange orders.

However, if there's anything like a weird/different texture or smell that you notice please get in contact right away and don't use the product.

Only then we will provide exchanges free of charge!
